Working with contributing editors, we assemble hard-to-access, overlooked or forgotten texts and unpublished archival material.
Committed to the form of the book, we collate and reissue these materials in small-run, hard-copy editions to complement and complicate established histories of art in Aotearoa New Zealand and to gain insights into artists’ thinking and practice.
Over time we plan to issue a series of critical readers and one-off artist publications to build a library of essential resources on art and artists in Aotearoa.
Our first book, which brings together writings from the archive of New Zealand artist Vivian Lynn (1931–2018), is set for release in late 2026.
